Dog Tail Wagging

Despite what many people think a wagging tail is not always a sign of your pup being happy.  Yes, tail wagging can be a sign of happiness, excitement, and alertness, but it can also mean quite the opposite.  Sometimes a dog wagging it’s tail can mean it is anxious and/or fearful and that is not a dog you want to approach and pet.  It is very important to educate yourself and your children on canine body language and don’t forget always ask permission to pet a dog you see because no one knows their pet better than the owner.
